Toyota will offer a $40 discount off the Autozones 2 Hybrid for the next two days.
The automaker will offer the 2.0-liter four-cylinder hybrid SUV and the 2-liter twin-turbo V6 truck for $39.99 in select U.S. markets on Feb. 28.
That discount is valid on all Autozons models.
Tundra, the most powerful sedan on the market, starts at $29,848, and the Tacoma, which is available with a 6.2-liter V8 engine, starts from $24,995.
Toyota will also offer a similar deal on the Tacoma 2 hybrid SUV for $37.99.
The price drop comes as Hyundai and Honda continue to improve their hybrid lineup with the introduction of the Infiniti QX60 and the Honda HR-V.
The two hybrids will cost about $25,000 each, while the QX70 will start at $36,800.
The discount on the Autos will last through Feb. 27, the day the new-generation Toyota Tacoma is released.
It’s not clear whether the Autzones 2 hybrid, which started out as a model name but has since been changed to Autozon, will remain on the Toyota program.
In an email to customers, Toyota said Autozoner offers “premium offers for our customers with a variety of pricing options and promotions, as well as offers that offer the same value and performance in a variety on-demand services.”
It also noted that Autozonal also offers an online store for customers to buy and sell cars.
