Fans are getting the chance to catch up on the centenary celebrations with an Army promotion on the TV and online.
The Stars and Stripes will broadcast a special live programme from 12pm on Wednesday in front of an army of over 70,000 troops in Canberra.
The programme will be followed by the unveiling of the new logo by the new head of the Australian Defence Force (ADF), Lieutenant General David Morrison, who will be joined by a special military parade.
The event will also feature the Australian Air Force and Australian Navy, which will be represented by the Australian Army, Australian Navy Reserve and Australian Army Training Command (AAFTRC).
In addition, there will be a ceremony to mark the centennial in Canberra’s Parliament House.
The show will also air on the ABC on Thursday night and on the Seven Network on Friday morning.
The live programme will have a special focus on the commemorations for the centenaries of the two largest combatant services in the Australian armed forces: the Army and the Australian Navy.
In addition to the Star and Stripe, the ABC will also carry an exclusive look back at the Centenary of the Great War at its online portal.
